Sources revealed that the operatives moved into the state from their Zonal office in Gombe State for routine duties since Wednesday last week, drilling the officials.
Sources at Government House, Yola, who pleaded anonymity, told Vanguard, yesterday, that the EFCC operatives were acting on a petition written against some of the officials for alleged multi-million Naira contract scam in some major contracts undertaken by the present administration in the state.
The sources added that after the drilling by the EFCC operatives, the suspects were granted bail and asked to report to the EFCC zonal office in Gombe this week.
