Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, has told manager Zinedine Zidane, that the club must always win silverware.
Zidane has won two Champions League trophies, the UEFA Super Cup and one La Liga title during his brief stint as manager at the Santiago Bernabeu.
But Perez, speaking to Cadena SER, has made it clear that it is the minimum expectation at Real.
“We are in a good moment with great players and a great coach but at Real Madrid, honors must always be earned,” he said.
Perez also denied that he influences team selection.
“There are no consultations with Zidane on playing the BBC or not. He plays them or not as he sees fit for the group,” Perez added.
