And the news has been welcomed by several senior Players, says Don Balon, fed up with the leeway granted to Neymar off the pitch.
Lionel Messi, Luiz Suarez, Andres Iniesta, Sergi Busquets and Javier Mascherano have all had their differences with Neymar over the past 12 months.
And the prospect of seeing €222m poured into the club’s coffers has the senior leadership convinced such resources could be put towards building a stronger team.
Marco Varratti (PSG), Paulo Dybala (Juventus) and David Alaba (Bayern Munich) have all been mentioned as potential signings with the Neymar funds.
